Chinese Almanac Astrology November 23 - 26, 2015

Apologies for the formatting issues,
anyone skilled with Google webpages? :)

Year: WOOD GOAT 4713
The Wood Goat, a little girl kid, lends a soft grounded context for us this year; Still very new, maturing quickly and playfully, sincere and disciplined. Herd up, slough off what no longer serves your appetite, compost and go fresh.

Lunar Month: FIRE PIG
"Fire Pigs are resolute, talented and aggressive characters. They are precocious and tend to marry/partner young or not at all. Having rare an unusual skills they are supported by people of power and influence. They are devout followers and absorb knowledge/power from others. Uniqueness and excessive strength isolate them. Their fortunes improve with age (60+) and/or when they learn to let go. Though they are particularly susceptible to 'hot' disease, they respond well to treatment and have long lives.LM Notes

QI NODE: 20 Little Snow
Yin Expands
“In the Little Snow qi node the continued growth of the cold/yin continues and our adaptation to Big Yin should have set in. The first snow seems beautiful like a young princess. The wisdom of the Past (ancestors) is proven true. The pattern of withdrawal seems just and truthful. Yin is now well established.

“Now it is easy to feel winter has begun. As winter grows cold and the maturation of the annual yin qi develops the cold and damp unite to create snow. Days get shorter - the dark grows quickly. The ground hardens and may freeze, insects disappear and rainbows no longer appear. The qi is best at 10pm. During this period the environment grows ever more yin and yang inhibition grows stronger. Every being/thing must rest. A trip south (winter vacation) is recommended for those with insufficient yang. We must guard our inner yang as it recedes from the environment. Cancel your activities in preparation for retreat. Earphones and iPod should replace public concerts. Check your insulation! Catch up on classic movies.”
LM The Way of Three Treasures

LUNAR HEXAGRAM: 52 Gen: Still
"Gen is the stillness of a mountain. In the image there are two mountains, one above and one below. The mountain above represents the clarity and calm of meditation, spiritual realization and the mystical inspiration of divination.
"The mountain below represents the courage of restraint in the face of physical punishment of suppressive discipline like the slow humiliation of sacrificed captives. This sort of courage transforms negative emotions into inner peace."
LChanging: Zhouyi

MONDAY November 23, Yin Water Rabbit 12
Hexagram 25 Wu Wang: No expectations
Lunar Mansion: The Bow/Deer
Solar Indicator: Settle
Partners and mentors play an exhaulted role today as keepers of the keel. Consult the oracle, give offerings and hang with friends.

"Life is full of little surprises. If you think success is always the result of your well-planned action, think again. Focus, concentration and knowing what you want are not always important and can even be a hindrance or limitation to success."

LChanging: Zhouyi

“Preparedness makes action timely and successful. Tradition, convention, training, education - all forms of readiness, inspire action. Forces join together and new alliances produce unexpected results. Action taken with such thorough preparation is bound to success. The qi of the day is stable, progressive and functional. Clarity and calm (yin) are not unseated by action (yang). Focus and repetition succeed. Procrastination and equivocation is contraindicated.”
LM Notes: Settle

LUNAR HEXAGRAM: 28 Da Guo: Excess
"When you get entangled in excess, going forward with caution may be the best thing to do. Excess and eccentricity have their place."

LChanging: Zhouyi

TUESDAY November 24, Yang Wood Dragon 13
Hexagram 17 Sui: Pursuit
Lunar Mansion: The Wings/Serpent
Solar Indicator: Maintain

"When your efforts are rewarded it is stopping that bring success. Getting caught up in pursuit for its own sake will make you mad and diminish your resources.
"What Confucianists will interpret as an ideal of moral restraint, is, in the Zhouyi, simply a matter of precedent and practicality. True success is ordained of Heaven, that is, fated or created by natural precedents - the momentum of the ancestors. When Sui is divined, following the omen of the ancestors is always the road to success."
LChanging: Zhouyi

"Good auspices relies heavily on inclusiveness, following custom (manners), social convention and guileless loyalty. Good fortune comes through the natural "chain of command". Misfortune is directly related to breaking taboos, ignoring family, conventions and/or defaulting on commitments of any kind. Lie still, move slowly and methodically and the snake won't strike."

LM Notes: The Wings

If you need to let off some steam today, consider being artful.

WEDNESDAY November 25, Yin Wood Snake 14
Hexagram 21 Shihe: Biting
Lunar Mansion: The Chariot/Earthworm
Solar Indicator: Destroy
Focus on resting well today. Yesterday's artistry flows into today with a deliberately strategic tone. Moving forward confidently is possible, as long as you're adaptable and flow with the river. It is inauspicious to be lazy, but certainly eat and sleep well.

THURSDAY November 26, Yang Fire Horse 15
Hexagram 51 Zhen: Thunder
Lunar Mansion: The Horn/Crocodile
Solar Indicator: Danger
Take care, there is a flamability about the day.
"When big changes happen the result has to do with how you handle it. The way to prepare for this kind of sudden change is the practice of self-cultivation - meditation.

"Sudden storms are an expression of the normal cycles of weather, and yet they are always surprising. Shocking events are, after all, not really shocking, but simply unexpected."

LChanging: Zhouyi

Notice the impulsiveness of the day and relax. Do only what is necessary and get some exercise. Training comes in most handy when you are calm and rested.
